Laura Morland| Laura Morland is our young shop manageress at The New Midas, and has diligently worked her way up to the top from humble beginnings. By training with a hairdresser from a retro era, she has a very classic style whilst retaining the capabilities to recreate styles with a modern edge. Laura completed her apprenticeship at Raymonde Hair in Twyford, and trained at Basingstoke college and fully qualified in 2007. She then furthered her skills at Expressions in Fair Oak. While she was at college, she attended a competition in her second year and was given first place prize by top hairdresser Beverly Cobella. The New Midas warmly welcomed Laura in January 2009 and she has since excelled in her new managerial role, whilst also building up the newly-established hairdressing department. She strives to offer the highest level of customer service . Laura works Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm. |

Keri Cooper
| Keri commenced her hairdressing career at Toni & Guy in 1998, whih gave her the opportunity to train extensively in all hair cutting, styling and colouring techniques, to the highest standards.
The Toni & Guy workshops, shows and competitions inspired Keri further, and she really loves the artistic side of hairdressing. Keri then went on to John Ellis Hair in Winchester in 2001. Whilst here, she attended the L'oreal Professional Colour Keys course at the L'oreal London academy. This ensures she can give the highest quality advice to our clients on choosing hair colours, changing hair colours and doing hai colour corrections to best suit the client's wishes. Through such hard work and diligence, she ended up being Senior Stylist at John Ellis Hair. Keri is also qualified in Cinderella Hair Extensions - these are 100% human hair and are Remi grade quality - meaning the hair is all going in the same direction with the cuticle at the same end. After a brief tenure at Enigma Hair in Winchester, she started at The New Midas Hair salon in Winchester in November 2009 where she has continued to thrive in her hair career. She has been hairdressing for over 12 years now, but despite this Keri still believes that you never stop learning. To this end, she regularly attends courses and trade shows to keep abreast of all the latest hairdressing, hair cutting and hair colour techniques. Keri works Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm. |

Sophie Abbey
| Sophie Abbey has been in the salon environment since the mere age of 14, and just observing other hairdressers cutting and colouring hair has inspired her to become a stylist. After achieving her Hairdressing NVQ level 2 in all aspects of hairdressing, she then went on to work in well known high street salons such as Toni and guy and Hair @ John Ellis. She is always driven to add to her skills by attending courses to keep up to date with the latest fashions and techniques of the trade. Recently Sophie attended a L'Oreal academy colour keys course in London, which has enabled her to perform dramatic colour changes, colour corrections, and colour consultations to a senior standard. After working at Enigma hair design, she came to The New Midas in November 2009, to seek a more prosperous career, and to work with the well established and friendly team that have warmly welcomed her. Sophie works Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm. |

Dr. David Varghese MBCHB, MRCS.
| Dr David Varghese graduated from Liverpool Medical School in 1995. He has worked in a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery and cardiac surgery. He became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002. David has also undertaken additional specialist training in Cosmetic Surgery, and is able perform these procedures to the highest level of satisfaction and clinical excellence. |

Claire Kimber
| Claire is a fully qualified Nail Technician, with a unique set of other skills - she is also fully trained in expertly applying hair extensions! Claire came to Winchester four years ago, and has quickly settled here and enjoyed making it her home. She is delighted to welcome all clients old and new to the Nail room at The New Midas. For your nails she specialises in using NSI Acrylics, but is also equally proficient in utilising gel to provide "Hollywood" and "Twinkle" toes too. Whether you are looking for the natural look, white tips, or something a little more noticeable such as coloured or glitter tips, or even spectacular 'Stilletto' nails, you can guarantee that drills are never used, and that all the products she uses are professional brands. With regard to hair extensions, Claire offers Fusion, Micro Ring and Micro Loop fittings in an abundant choice of colours and lengths.
